Professor Jo Duberley, Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Head of the College of Social Sciences, warmly invites you to join us for an engaging panel presentation and thought-provoking discussion as we launch our 2030 Strategy.
The session will begin with Professor Duberley sharing the College’s vision for the social sciences as we look ahead to 2030, exploring what this means for you as valued members of our global alumni community living and working in and around Dubai.
Following this, our panel of distinguished academics, from both the Edgbaston and Dubai campuses, will discuss their current research; how it aligns with our 2030 strategy, how it addresses some of the most pressing questions in the social sciences, and how it helps shape the future of the field.
Together they will highlight how our research is both evidence-based and data-driven, and how it enhances our external visibility and global reputation through impactful policy recommendations to government, business, and third-sector end-users.
Our panel members include:
-
Professor Finola Kerrigan – Professor of Marketing
-
Professor Jonathan Fisher – Professor of Global Security
-
Dr Ayat Abu-Agla – Assistant Professor, Health Services Management
-
Dr Sarah Benson – Associate Professor and Programme Lead for Inclusion and Special Educational Needs
We look forward to welcoming you to an engaging evening of discussion and reflection, one that not only showcases our 2030 Strategy, but that also offers valuable insights from our leading academics.
